Hi everyone! My name is Kristina and I am a self-taught watercolor artist located in Vancouver, Canada. I’ve always been artistic and tried many different mediums until I finally found my creative niche in watercolors.
Painting is incredibly therapeutic for me. It gives me time to relax and clear my head amid the vigorous daily routine of raising a young family and being involved in the community.
I am a breast cancer survivor and mental health advocate. I strive to incorporate the depths of human emotion into each and every painting I create. Within each landscape are life lessons to be learned, thoughts to ponder and emotions to feel.
I specialize in painting the majestic west coast landscapes that have surrounded me my whole life. Being born and raised in the West Coast of Canada gives me constant inspiration for my paintings. Vancouver is surrounded by towering, snow-capped mountains, trees of every variety, and land and sea creatures of the greatest diversity. All of which I love to paint!
In February 2023, I was accepted as an Active Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. This means that my art has been recognized at the highest national level, what an honour!
